Pain Points
I asked frequent flyers for individual pain points while preparing to fly, here are some responses:
“Difficult to make changes”
I usually fly Alaskan Air and always check in online or through the app. The process is unorganized and makes it difficult to go back and make small changes. Switching seats, times or even classes is always a hassle and I end up having to call the customer service line in order to fix the issue.

“Printed passes are hard to read”
Call it old school, but I rely on printed boarding passes when I fly. I like holding a printed pass in my hand to easily access my gate, flight number, sea, etc. I find printed passes are difficult to decipher, there is little organization and the messy text is harder to read with aging eyes.

“No clear way to save digital passes”
By far my biggest annoyance stems from the pass QR code. I use the airline app to fly but there isn’t a clear way I can save my QR pass. Usually, I will get to the check in gate and frantically search through the app to find the pass while holding up the rest of the flyers behind me.
