PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Women’s swimwear print and pattern designs for Mello The Label, a Los Angeles based swimwear brand. The brand is inspired by celebration of Brazilian life and culture. Having developed their own proprietary fabric, Mello the Label remains at the forefront of sustainability. All of their items and garments are designed and produced locally in Los Angeles.

Mosaico

The Mosaico print is inspired by the cobble stone streets that flow through Brazil. The pattern uses abstract shapes and unique tiles to create a seamless pattern that embodies the whimsical, hand made, and geometric look and feel of the pathways throughout the city.

Floripa

The Copacabana print is an abstract portrayal of the boardwalks of Copacabana. The swirls represent windy pathways that run through the city. Print expanded into 3 separate color ways.

Impanema

The Ipanema print is an abstract representation of the boardwalks of Ipanema. This print comes in both a rust and brown color scheme with white, sandy swirls that run throughout the grounds to portray the beach town.

Copacabana

The Copacabana print is an abstract portrayal of the boardwalks of Copacabana. The swirls represent windy pathways that run through the city. Print expanded into 3 separate color ways.
